Which ETFs Hold Intuitive Machines ($LUNR) Stock? The Full List for 2026

The space funds with the biggest Intuitive Machines weights, the two ARK funds that own it, the 2x single-stock fund, and the defense ETFs that don't hold it at all.

Quick answer: The ETF with the biggest Intuitive Machines ($LUNR) position is $ORBX at about 3.5%. Next come $WARP (about 3.0%), $NASA (about 2.9%) and $MARS (about 2.3%). Unlike AST SpaceMobile, both ARK funds own it: $ARKX (about 2.1%) and $ARKQ (about 1.6%). $UFO holds about 1.1%. For leverage, $LUNL targets 2x the stock's daily move. Weights are as of October 23 to 28, 2026 and change daily.

My lists of ETFs that hold SpaceX, Rocket Lab and AST SpaceMobile are some of the most read pages on this site. So let's keep going down the list of space stocks people actually ask about. Next up: Intuitive Machines.

Intuitive Machines is the moon company. In 2024 its Nova-C lander touched down on the Moon, the first U.S. lunar landing in over 50 years, and it went back to the lunar south pole with a second lander in 2025. Then in January 2026 it closed an $800 million deal for Lanteris, the satellite maker formerly known as Maxar Space Systems. So it's not just a lander story anymore. It's trying to become a full space prime contractor.

That's a big swing for a company with a market cap of roughly $2.6 billion. Which is exactly why a lot of people would rather own it inside a fund. Here's every way to do that.

The Full List: ETFs That Hold $LUNR, Ranked by Weight

Same format as the other lists. The last column is the one I care about most: how many dollars of Intuitive Machines you actually own for every $10,000 you put in.

Sources: StockAnalysis.com holdings data, updated October 23, 2026 for $NASA and $UFO, October 26 for $ORBX, $ARKX and $ARKQ, October 27 for $WARP and October 28 for $MARS. Expense ratios from StockAnalysis.com fund pages. *$NASA holds SpaceX two ways: about 18.22% through a special purpose vehicle and about 9.36% in listed $SPCX shares. Weights change every day.

Three things jump out. First, Intuitive Machines is a smaller position everywhere than Rocket Lab or AST. Nobody holds more than about 3.5%. Second, the two cheapest funds, $ORBX and $WARP at 0.50%, hold the most. And third, this is the first name in my series that both ARK funds actually own.

Space ETFs With the Biggest Intuitive Machines Positions

$ORBX Global X Space Tech ETF

0.50% expense 37 holdings $LUNR 3.48%

The most Intuitive Machines of any diversified fund I found, at 3.48%, its 10th biggest holding. The top of the fund is SpaceX (24.58%), Rocket Lab (9.53%) and AST SpaceMobile (7.51%). It also holds Firefly, Redwire and Planet Labs at similar weights to $LUNR, so you're getting a real basket of the newer space names. The downside: it's small, at about $35 million in assets, and only launched in April 2026.

$WARP VanEck Space ETF

0.50% expense 22 holdings $LUNR 3.03%

Same low fee as $ORBX, and the most concentrated fund here at just 22 names. Intuitive Machines is 3.03%. SpaceX is 21.82% and Rocket Lab a big 13.17%. About $37 million in assets, launched May 2026.

$NASA Tema Space Innovators ETF

0.75% expense 40 holdings ~$960M AUM

The big one. At about $960 million, $NASA is by far the largest of the new space funds, and Intuitive Machines is its 11th biggest holding at 2.94%. The thing to know: about 18% of the fund is a SpaceX special purpose vehicle, plus another 9.36% in listed $SPCX. If you care about a fund sticking around, size matters, and this one has it.

$MARS Roundhill Space & Technology ETF

0.75% expense 28 holdings $LUNR 2.33%

SpaceX first at 25.86%, Rocket Lab second, Globalstar third. Intuitive Machines sits 14th at 2.33%. About $40 million in assets. For $LUNR exposure specifically, it gives you less than $ORBX or $WARP and charges more.

$ARKX and $ARKQ: The ARK Angle

This one surprised me. When I did the AST SpaceMobile list, $ARKX didn't own any. With Intuitive Machines, both ARK funds do.

  • $ARKX (ARK Space & Defense Innovation ETF) holds about 2.14%, its 17th biggest position. The top of the fund is SpaceX (11.34%), L3Harris and Deere. About $684 million in assets, 33 holdings, 0.75% fee.
  • $ARKQ (ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF) holds about 1.56%. This is mostly a Tesla, SpaceX and Nvidia fund, so $LUNR is a small side bet. About $1.76 billion in assets.

That tells you something about how ARK sees Intuitive Machines: less as a satellite play, more as a space infrastructure and defense name. That fits the Lanteris deal, which the company said strengthens its push for programs like Golden Dome and NASA's Artemis work. For a full breakdown of $ARKX against the older space funds, see $UFO vs $ARKX vs $ROKT.

Popular ETFs That Don't Hold It

$UFO is the oldest pure space fund and does own Intuitive Machines, but only about 1.14%, its 24th biggest holding out of 64. It's the most diversified way to own it, and also the most diluted.

Then there's the list of funds people assume own it that don't show it among their top 25 holdings:

  • $ROKT (SPDR S&P Kensho Final Frontiers ETF)
  • $XAR (SPDR S&P Aerospace & Defense ETF)
  • $ITA (iShares U.S. Aerospace & Defense ETF)
  • $SHLD (Global X Defense Tech ETF)
  • $ARKK (ARK Innovation ETF)

The big defense funds are dominated by names like GE Aerospace, RTX and Lockheed. A $2.6 billion moon company just doesn't move the needle there. If you own one of those "for the space exposure," you're mostly buying aerospace giants.

$LUNL: The 2x Intuitive Machines ETF

For traders, Defiance launched $LUNL (Defiance Daily Target 2X Long LUNR ETF) on January 12, 2026. It aims for 2x the stock's daily move, charges about 1.34% and is tiny, at under $10 million in assets.

My standard warning, and it matters a lot here: it resets daily. Over weeks or months you will not get 2x what $LUNR does. Intuitive Machines is a very volatile stock, and in a stock that swings hard, daily leverage can lose money even if the stock ends up flat. This is a short-term trading tool. It's not a way to own the company.

The Catch: You Get 5 to 11 Times More SpaceX

This is the part most people miss. If you buy a space ETF to get Intuitive Machines, what you're mostly buying is SpaceX.

~7x
More $SPCX than $LUNR in $ORBX and $WARP
~9x
More SpaceX than $LUNR in $NASA
~11x
More $SPCX than $LUNR in $MARS
~5x
More $SPCX than $LUNR in $ARKX

That's not necessarily bad. SpaceX is the most valuable space company on the planet, and Intuitive Machines rides on rockets to get to the Moon. But if your thesis is "I want the lunar economy," know that it's a small slice of what you're paying for. Look at the top three holdings before you buy, not the fund's name.

For the bigger picture, see our 10 top space ETFs to buy in 2026 and $NASA vs $MARS vs $ORBX vs $WARP, where I compared the four new 2026 funds head to head.

Which Approach Fits You

  • "I want the most Intuitive Machines in a fund, for the lowest fee." $ORBX or $WARP, both 0.50%.
  • "I want a space fund big enough to stick around." $NASA, at about $960 million.
  • "I already like ARK's style." $ARKX, with $LUNR at about 2%.
  • "I want the broadest space basket." $UFO, 64 holdings, $LUNR at about 1%.
  • "I want to trade the daily moves." $LUNL. Short term only.
  • "I own $ITA or $XAR." You don't have meaningful Intuitive Machines exposure. Just know it.

My Take

I'm a dividend investor first. I reached financial freedom by building income, not by betting on moon landings. Intuitive Machines doesn't pay a dividend, and a company spending to build out landers, satellites and a whole new business line probably won't for a long time.

So if I wanted exposure, I'd keep it small, and I'd rather get it through a basket than the single stock. Between the funds, I'd pay attention to the fee first. $ORBX and $WARP hold more $LUNR than $MARS and charge 0.50% instead of 0.75%. That difference compounds.
